Running a Maybach may not be a financial strain for those who can afford to buy one in the first place, but steep depreciation means hunting down a used example will save you the price of a well specified Mercedes S-class.
The running costs will still be the same as for a brand new Maybach, so you'll have to do more than fish down the back of the sofa when the servicing bill comes through.
However, as far as reliability goes, it's built by Mercedes and you can leave all of the humdrum of booking services and such like to your Maybach Relationship Manager, who is a dealer appointed flunky at your beck and call.
